Roughly what's going to be slimmer: apc ns or weird guys sized down one?

If you had them both sized right the Weird Guy should be a little slimmer from the knee down.

I have moderately sized thighs, and I wear a 31 in APC NS, and I tried on a 32 in Weird Guys today, and the fit was about perfect. A little bit tight, but I'd say they'd stretch out a little. (not APC stretching, but enough). They are more tapered too, which I liked.

Got the browns from Gilt. A lot nicer than I expected. They are a nice, thick canvas. In hindsight, I would have bought two. They are nice enough I grabbed the chinos at full price from elsewhere. I hope they are equally durable.

All N&F are really durable, one of my favorite labels right now. Anyways, here are some pics of the N&F tour pair that I've got for a month, and pics of what I'm in Seattle working on building(actually just pics of the chicken run, not the deck.) Free woodchip mania!

Anyone else find that the 'Skinny Guy' fit isn't tapered enough in the lower parts of the leg?

I'm assuming you misspoke and mean the Slim Guy isn't tapered enough. Slim tends towards 8" hems and Skinny / WG closer to 7. I wouldn't wear a Slim with anything but boots.

I will have to try a Skinny. Slim fits my bum but I've had a long disgruntled affair with WG's. I'm not built right and have had two pairs...

There is a Skinny Guy Light Blue Stretch and a Weird Guy Herringbone Pant

Both of these sound like things I want.

Nope... I meant the Skinny Guy fit. It stacks a bunch near my shoes.

Not a big deal, was just wondering if anyone else has a similar problem.

+1. i also bought the brown canvas and they are great. re the chinos, i've tried them on at American Rag, they are a very different material - they're selvedge and smoother than the canvas. i actually prefer the chinos, so you won't be disappointed.

Just got them online. They are both really great summer options.

The Herringbone pants definitely won't stretch out as much as the denim usually does, so i recommend going a size up in those.

We also got a new Slimshirt up in Black Chambray. Keep in mind this is extremely heavy fabric.

Uh, I'm not really sure what you mean. Generally, a lot of stacking means that the jean is pretty tapered. If it's not tapered, you generally get larger breaks that wouldn't be confused with stacks.

Stacks tend to visually "widen" the leg/ankle quite a bit so it may not actually look skinny at all.

I know what he is talking about, the Skinny Guy cut isn't very tapered from the knee down. When I wear my pair, its more like a very slim straight cut than a true skinny jean, compared to say, Ksubi, which are nearly skintight at the ankles for some cuts.
