Dropped by the Times Profile Shop in Vancouver today to try on the jeans.

Weird Guys doesn't look as strange on me as I thought, I'll probably pick up a pair, but I didn't want to pay retail for them right there. They are skinny but overall look pretty good, I think I could get use to it.

My brother and I were the only ones in the store and the 2 freakishly tall sales guys were standing outside my change room the whole time.

    Really creeped me out [IMG]

LOL, i was in today to pickup a shirt as well, felt like i stepped into the middle of Alice in Wonderland or something

Tobi just got in this fantastic pair of WGs. They're called "Weird Guy Double Weave Glen Check", they're 50% wool, and they're fully-lined in what appears to be a houndstooth pattern. Going for $300.. perfect winter jeans? [IMG]

First post just to say that these WGs look amazing.
Hope they will get some in Montreal (which should be the case)!

More expensive than the WWM wool jeans? Not sure I'd pay that much tbh.

They look rather strange in that picture with no creases, very un-jean-like, like pants on a snowsuit. Maybe if you really need em for warmth? Nothing I'd wear because I think it looks good.

Weird Guy - Tapered at the leg, allows for more stacking.
Skinny Guy - Slim straight for the most part
Slim Guy- loose fit, but still relatively slim

skinny is the best cut imo

I don't know any store in the US that carry them

    @alastiar

Barney's has N&F. There are a lot of other small boutique stores that will carry them. There are about 5 others here in San Francisco that have them. One is a rack store that sells some for deep discounts. Of course they don't have a lot of selection, but once in a while you might find something that fits for super cheap.

I found all these places by doing a quick Google search. Just type in "(your city) naked famous".

Just to add, from loosest to tightest fit, they go like this:

Slim Guy---> Weird Guy---> Skinny Guy

Personally, I like the Slim Guy the best, but I think the Skinny Guy is the most popular right now.

I was speaking strictly of cuts, not denim, but since you brought it up, aren't most N&F jeans 12.5 oz. denim regardless of cut?

Yeah, I meant the cashmere blend slim guy (gray). Want comments before I purchased, possibly for 50% off. Thanks everyone!

i own a pair, have had them for about 9 months. they are terrific. washed once. start off relatively soft and get softer. some whiskering and fading. really great jeans. if you can get them for 50% off, definitely buy them.

i tried the wool/denim pair. It feels really well but it has a weird look, like the pants the usa team used in vancouver 2010. It was 279$ in montreal tho.
