I would warm soak first for 30 minutes if you do decide to hem before washing.
second... 34" inseam would be monstrously long on my stumpy legs.
I'm thinking about eventually getting some weird guys, but I'm pretty sure I would need to hem them to somewhere between 30-32"... Thanks for the advice above to leave about 1" to allow for some shrinkage.
I grabbed a pair of brand new WG Indigo Selvedge from B&S and sized down 2. Not sure if I need to hot soak, any advice?
Most N&F materials will shrink. The longer the measurement, the greater the shrink.
What are some tips on stretching out a pair of jeans?
from what i'be read, cold soak them (to minimize shrinkage) and stretch them while still wet during drying
You can also bike in them / do squats etc.
I have a pair of wg in the left hand twill about 2 months old (maybe 4-5 wears a week). but I'm really not liking the way they are stacking. they just keep bunching at around the knee area. how can I fix this?
this is what I was thinking....shrink them down first and then hem from there.
I did squats in a pair once to loosen them up. All I got were knee bags to hell. At that point I basically realized that shit was too small if I couldn't bend over without fkcn knee bags.
since the 32oz apparently has quality like that of their japanese collabs do you guys think there'll be a nicely contrasted fade on each pair?
pic of Elephant 2 SkG tagged 28 ( measures true to tag=14" flat) ordered a 28 since I thought they were 1 size bigger than tag. My true waist is 29 but there's no way these are going to fit..so I'm returning them for tag size 30. I think they look good but top block is WAAY to tight. Maybe if these were lighter weight and not soo stiff I might try and stretch em
Posting a pic for heck of it and for future reference to anyone. I'm 5'6 about 120 pounds Waist is 29
A 30 was too loose and I exchanged it for a 29. The 29 i got now feels tight with all the buttons. Will I be fine?
My other 29 fit fine but it is a tad looser
I guess a cold soak and squats would be the best thing to do?
