I agree that Naked Famous doesn't do so well when it comes to maintaining their quality on the heavyweight denim.
In my experience (Elephants, 24oz, 26oz) the stitching and buttons don't keep up with the heavy denim they use. You tend to get stitching coming apart and buttons popping.

But to give NFDenim credit, I sent my 24oz back to them and (for only paying 1 way shipping,) they fixed all the stitching problems, fixed the leather patch and reinforced the crotch area with more fabric for me!

They will also hook it up if your denim becomes damaged in an unnatural way.

They are made in Japan by a factory that works with heavy weight denim on a regular basis, however, this is the heaviest weight they have ever made. I have handled the denim. The quality is on par with all of the N&F collabs.

That's encouraging to hear. The quality on the collabs is much better than on standard N&F models.

I may have to consider getting a pair, but here in SoCal, even 24-26 oz. denim gets annoyingly hot to wear a lot of the time.

WG's feel better up top than Slim Guys if you have bigger thighs in terms of sizing/fit

Lol, I'm getting an iPhone this weekend, had to wait for my contract to be up.

RawAsDenim, are the Indigo/Indigos sized differently than other WG's?

I actually find them to fit about the same up top.

is anybody having trouble buttoning up their japan heritage?

mine is a 29 in weird guy cut... the buttons quite frankly are ridiculously short , plus the denim is so stiff (not complaining here) make it so difficult to button up. except the top button is fine.
i just tried to button up the jeans without wearing it. and it took some pain on my finger to button up the second last button. the last bottom button is impossible to button, as of now.
