probably, most jeans, regardless of sanforized or not, shrink a bit when hot soaked. They'll likely stretch right back out though...

should I do a hot soak anyways, as i'm going to be getting them hemmed?

im not sure if you understood me. im not sure how they will replace stiching for free. im talking about the eyehole that the button goes into. the stiching around it is separating from the jean.

Please respond.

They will replace the JEANS if they are coming apart in an unexpected way.

You can do that, or you can just have them leave the inseam about an inch longer than you want when you get them hemmed, to account for possible future shrinkage.

Picked up a pair of N&F Left Hand Twills a while ago to mess around with. I don't wear denim much, and aren't a big fan of raws, so bear with me:

What do you guys do about the following area at the button fly that juts out since the fabric is being pulled and stretched? Does it settle down after a while? The entire crotch area seems to be dragging towards the left for me and looks kinda strange.

My Nudie Average Joe Dry Heavy did that.....never layed flat even after some stretching. None of my N&F did that.

Meh, my wg stainless are too small. I don't think my thighs are that large... Too bad because they are gorgeous.

Standing straight up (not flexing), the thickest part of my thighs measure 22 1/2 inches around.
Around the thickest part of ******, 32 1/2 inches.
Where my pants generally sit on the waist, 32 inches.

Unfortunately I have short legs (29 inseam) and my calves are not large so they don't factor in my measurements.

I have a pair of APC NS which, I'd say, has over a year+ (365 days) total of wear tagged as 28 and they fit really well. Except for around the thighs... It's a bit tight in that area for my taste. Still look good, though. Perhaps could use a little space in the seat, but it's not hugging ****** or anything. All I'm looking for are jeans which fit similarly with a little more space in the thigh.

Oh, and for those wondering on the feel with the stainless inside, it's not noticeable. All things considered, the jeans feel soft -- like not tear apart your legs. Not sure on the fit and fades a year from now, but the initial look is nice. I'd buy a pair which fit.

Wow, nice denim on those. As for the "jutting out", is it perhaps because sir dresses to the left? My Slim Guy Elephant Ones do the same, and I've been wearing them for several months, so I don't think they'll be self-correcting.
