Weird Guy High is still coming out. Brandon said SS12.
I'm guessing I need to go with a 31 in the weird guy ducks if I am 34 natural waist as it will stretch a bit?
Do you have any more details? SS12 refers to Spring-Summer 2012 yes?
I asked Brandon about it on Facebook. Yeah, SS12 refers to Spring-Summer 2012. If I remember correctly, I think someone said on here that it'd be a 5 button-fly.
Does anyone know where I can get Skinny Guy jeans in a 27 waist? I'm in Canada, looking for an online retailer that ships here.
http://cosmicbobo.com/index.php seem to have a few pairs of Skinny Guys in 27. I've dealt with them a few times, always a pleasure.
Thanks. Don't think I'm prepared for 22oz, but the black coated maybe. Does anyone know if the 95%/5% elastine fits tighter?
Are their stretch denims as good as their selvedge models in terms of fades and durability?
I sized down 1 on my skinny guys and have been liking the fit. The waist has stretched out nicely, wish the crotch area would do the same.
Stretch denim will generally not fade like regular 100% cotton dry denim, due to its lack of rigidity.
In particular, if you are looking at the N&F Black Power Stretch, it will hardly fade at all, also due to they way the fabric is dyed. I don't think this fabric is really meant to fade.
I have the SkinnyGuy Black Power Stretch and have found them to be well constructed and as durable as can be expected. Hope this answers your question.
What's the difference between the khaki-brown Duck pants vs. khaki-colored chinos?
N&F ducks and chinos are totally different fabric. The chinos are lighter color and heavier weight fabric that is more like denim, the ducks are a medium weight canvas in slightly darker brown color. The chino is better spring color as it is slightly lighter shade, duck is more of a fall shade of brown, but both of them can eaily be worn year round.
FYI....I was told a full size run of slim guy ducks became available. If anyone is still searching for slim guy ducks send me an e-mail, you might be in luck.
If my jeans are still "collecting" at the knee does that mean that they have not finished stretching?
I don't think it has anything to do with stretching, but it does mean that your stacks probably haven't fully settled yet.
My weird guys are like 5 months in and the knee bulge is still very much there. I'm not sure it's ever gonna go away. Seems like this is more of an issue for heavy weight denims.
