^^^ It is most likely because the jeans are too big. In order to keep them up, he is wearing a belt. That cinching causes all that fabric to bunch up in the crotch area. You can also tell that his jeans are too big for him by looking at the front belt loops. See how they are pulling? It's because the belt is tight and the denim is not; therefore, the fabric around the waist is also bunching up.

Damn, you think so? My jeans are still pretty tight and rigid, though, and they've had some creases since coming out of the box (pretty tight). I don't have to wear a belt to keep my jeans up by any means. Has anybody else had this problem?

What on Earth do the Elephant 2s feel like? I have some 13oz Black Selvedge and some 15oz Deep Indigos and the difference of rigidity between those two is obvious, 24(?)oz must be like a carpet and 32 will be ridiculous.

Man I tried on a pair of the left hand twill's in size 32 (pretty sure I have a 32" waist) and they fit HUGE in the waist, almost to the point where I think I could have worn 30s in the skinny guy cut...

SkinnyGuy's are pretty close to tagged waists. WG is 2 inches larger.

The denim is vanity sized like most brands. I believe that the LHT runs a little larger than most of N&F's other fabrics. Check Blue Owl's site. You can go off of those measurements to know which size will work best for you.

Just scored the duck canvas weird guys on K loop for $115 shipped. Pretty legit.

Hopefully these will be my khakis for the winter.

Actually, just measured my waist and turns out I'm a true 31" at the hips. This explains things

I did. to be honest I regret it. Next pair, I am going to wear it as long as possible without washing or soaking.

My WG LHT came in, and i am wondering how the stretch is with these. The top two button up, the others are giving me trouble. Will it stretch eventually or do I need to size up one?
