I talked to a retailer who suggested to buy my regular Weird Guy size even with the soak. I should have trusted my instinct and gone up a size. It is always recommended to soak unsanforized denim first. If you don't, and you hem you will get it wrong (these shrunk 1.5" in inseam alone with a lukewarm soak)...plus, if you buy jeans that fit well before soak and you wear them dry, you can pretty much count out ever washing them as they will shrink right up when you do. These shrunk more than I expected, but looking back I don't know what I was thinking. Anyway, my loss is everyone's gain who wants to buy these. Size up and soak. I should have thought this through more. They actually fit me pretty well, which is why I tried making them work, but the rise is what kills it for me. I need at least 9.75" rise. I'm sure there will be someone that fits those measurements perfectly. Denim is killer. I'll probably buy another pair in size 29.

Could I get a description of how the Indigo Indigo Slub feels to the touch? Is it more Deep Indigo / J Heritage starched or more Broken Twill?

That's my oldest pair (something like 300 wears). It's really broken now and feels super super comfy. I should take pics :( I feel like I owe so many pics... =))

I don't know who this was directed towards but I don't own any of the comparison jeans you listed so I don't have much to say about those but it was a very thick and of coure slubby material I would say slightly less slubby than the Oni's if that helps?

I just got my first pair in weird guy. I can't get the button closed. Are they too small? It is BARELY not able to be closed. Should I get a size up or just keep wearing them till the stretch enough for me to close them properly?
