Many thanks for the informative post, sir Islander. Do you have any information that doesn't read like a teenager's research essay?

No problem, but if your actual waist measurement is 34" (as you previously mentioned), you will probably find the WG 33" a little big.

    Good luck!

Ha ha - touché, meso my man.

I live near the establishment in question. What do you want to know that isn't self explanatory? I can ask.

I never did figure out what this means. Any other IT guys in the room who can translate?

Specifically, I'm wondering if anyone has has knowledge of any fabrics being offered, or details on whether this is purely in-store or not. I'm assuming online customers wouldn't be eligible, and there's not much info on the event because it isn't the 9th yet, but you never know.

In store only. They do it all the time. See this thread (yeah, this thread).

    Evidently Jake is a fan.

Does anyone have any info on how they'll price the custom denim?

If you have to ask you can't afford it.

EDIT: check Jake's blog for the answer.

Went to one of these a couple months ago, and I know it varies from place to place. But when I was there they had most of the normal fabrics, and a couple that were for their fall/winter line up and we'rent currently out yet. Prices depend on which fabrics you choose, and if i remember correctly they were around 250-350 for a pair, and even a pair for like a 1000 bucks i think it was cashmere... You got to choose the denim, thread colors, and leather patches, as well as which fit you'd like. Cool event and idea, I just wish it was a little more affordable for everyone and that there was more tailoring involved. Cool nonetheless, and naked and famous is an awesome brand, cant go wrong with their fits and crazy ideas for the price.

Heard there is a new cut called TheRegularGuy coming in Spring (according to denimgeek.com). I wonder if it the same as the WeirdGuy High but renamed or a completely different cut.

Yeah, but any smaller and the thighs will be too tight. I was figuring on a bit of anti-fit in the butt too, so I'm not super concerned. Thanks though!
