I really love N&F, but what is the appeal of denim with stretch? I'm asking seriously, as I have never owned any.

I find the stretch more comfortable.

it stretches with elasticity, so it'll shrink back a bit and not stretch to the point its too big for you like 100% sometimes cotton does

philip13a nailed it, but I'll just re-state anyway because that's all I do in life

While cotton jeans stretch, they typically remain that size until you soak/wash etc. Having that stretch material in jeans maintain their size

Can someone please help. I have a pair of Skinnyguy black twill stretch. 95% denim 5% stretch material. I was curious on when and how to wash these bad boys. Do i still wait for the traditional six months? Or can i just throw em in?

wash em whenever the hell you feel like it.

    general rules of thumb:

    1. the longer you wait to wash, the higher the contrast your fades are. the likelihood of your jeans smelling are much higher. and finally, they wont last as long because all the sweat and bacteria will eat away at the cotton.
    2. what i said in 1, but vice versa.

the fact that people can't grasp this basic concept is mind blowing.
