I agree from a branding standpoint. MyTailor always seemed a bit cheap...way below the quality of the garments.

agree on the MyTailor branding, I like the fact that my suit says "Hemrajani Bros" on the label. I'm excited to see the Divij.com launch, I chatted with them about it briefly at my most recent meeting, it seems like they will included basted fittings on as many of the orders as needed until they feel like they have your pattern down and then go straight to forward fitting. we were pretty close after my first suit, so i believe my most recent blazer order will go straight to forward

I really enjoy how they are flexible on style, we chatted about making 3 different style templates for me: classic suits (conservative, slight roping on shoulder, fully lined, pleats), trad sport jacket (soft shoulder, 3 roll 2, slight drape), and Neapolitan (shirt shoulder, 3 roll 2, light canvas, wide lapels)...it really makes it easy to stay with them for a variety of diff garments and work on iterative aspects of perfecting fit

Anyone hear any updates on when the new site will be up and travel schedule posted?

I dunno, I keep checking cause they normally do a May trip to NYC...but I'm not sure how that will pan out in this current environment.

Divij has been responsive to emails, it may take a couple days though. I think the email came from [email protected] rather than [email protected]

Thanks for the info. I sent an email today asking about some fabrics and travel schedule. We’ll see what the response is. Typically I get an email back in a couple days.

I've been wondering the same. I'm curious how they are fairing between the virus along with their operations in Hong Kong. Supposedly they are fairing better than mainland China but they have also been dealing with the riots.

my inquiry had about a week turn around back in late Feb, they had mentioned that COVID-19 concerns had pushed their production times a bit longer than normal (I was asking if I placed a rush order if it would be available by a specific date)

I placed an order with Joe and Divij for two suits and a shirt when they were in Dallas back on 1/28. Sent an email inquiring about the status on Tuesday and got a response on Wednesday saying the order had just been completed, was going through quality checks and would be shipped out in the next week or so.

That would put them a bit beyond the normal 6 week turnaround, but not exorbitantly so.

My timeline is similar to Mark's. I just got a shipping notification on a suit that was ordered first week of February. It was supposed to be a basted fitting so not sure if this should even be coming to me... but just a timing FYI to everyone.

I had a basted fitting on an overcoat just before Xmas. Delivery has been delayed several times. Now scheduled to arrive next week.

To celebrate my first day of working from home my friendly FedEx guy delivered a package. In it were two new unlined summer suits. Both are made from the Loro Piana “Lightest” 150’s wool/silk seersucker fabric. Made as suits, but I’ll likely wear them most as separates.

Now I just need summer weather and an unquarantined event to wear them to.
