Don't do it. Myspace carries a negative connotation with some people.

All these "social networking" seem a bit boorish to me? What happen to discretion? For the most part, the pages seem like product advertisements, categorizing people instead of products. Don't get me wrong, I've met a lot of old friends thru these sites. I guess most people are exhibitionist when they have the chance.

    P.S. I'm old school like 88.

FWIW - Unless you're in the entertainment industry, I would say that MySpace is useless for professional networking.

But there are lots of pictures of hot babes [IMG] For an overview, check out this thread on the Bodybuilding.com forums...

I don't much care for myspace. Like its been mentioned... terrible interface. Besides that, for being a so called social networking site, you can't actually do any communicating or blogging. There's no good way to talk to people you may want to besides the annoyingly bad comment system. At least livejournal had a way to write entries and people could respond. Facebook is pretty useless too, but at least it has a nicer interface.

Maybe they're just not dynamic enough for me, once you set up a profile theres nothing to do.

The software does suck. It takes forever to log in and there are always technical problems, but the girls in the pics are hot.

Myspace does have an instant message feature Trojan, but it only works about .00000001% of the time.

MySpace is so disgusting that despite the fact that I could get tons of pub from a page, I've never decided to make an account. That's actually not true, I made a personal account that was deleted after a week. I couldn't handle another dumb guy from highschool messaging me or some make-up-caked skank PMing, "hey lol ur cute!!1111ONE".

And I never got the MySpace girls page in the bodybuilding forum. All those girls look totally generic. Like the type you can pick up on any given night, completely drunk, fake tan and all in any bar in America.
