I've got one of those white macbooks and it is slowly turning black around the keyboard and where I rest my palms. No matter how often I clean it, it doesn't do much good. Any suggestions?

Tokyo Slim's spite works as a good mac cleaner.

I suggest getting some thin leather and double-stick-taping it to where you rest your hands. Samples from a good furniture store or scraps from an upholsterer work well.

Isnt this the point where someone tells you to sell it for $50 less than you bought it for and buy a new one? I'm pretty sure thats what Apple customer service would suggest.

I'm still of the opinion that real electronics are black to begin with.

That is the unofficial Apple upgrade plan.

It's been a while, but I believe alcohol worked for me (90% isopropyl). If not, goof oof will definitely work.

I recommend Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I used it to remove a ton of dirt and indigo stains from my macbook.

+1, MCME is great for cleaning grime and dirt off any textured plastic. Works well in cars with plastic/vinyl interior trim

I did pay $0 for it because I got it thanks to comp dollars at the Borgata, which technically means I probably spent $10,000 for it.
