Hi everyone, here is my first post! I've read through some of your great wedding advice, and have chosen the basic Navy suit (the only one that I own!). While I plan to get a nicer shirt, this is the look I'm currently planning. Is this a classic look or is it bordering on boring?

    Thanks![IMG]

Are you the groom or just an attendee?

To be honest, its not the most exciting look I've ever seen but then again in formal events its the man's role to be a bit of a blank canvas for your partner.

If you are getting married, then ask your fiancée, if you are a guest and not a groomsman and taking a +1 then ask your +1 too

Yes I am the one getting married. My girlfriend gave it the "thumbs up" but I wouldn't call it the most enthusiastic yes I've gotten...

The suit is fine, what is the colour theme of the wedding? Can you introduce it, possibly as an accent colour to the tie or pocket square?

No colour theme... We are eloping, and my gf is wearing white with no real colour. We're going to the Fogo Island Inn, and even the bouquet may end up as local wild flowers..

There's nothing wrong with what you've chosen. I'd call it classic, not boring.

You like it. Your girlfriend likes it. So wear it. And don't torment yourself, second guessing your choices.
