That's the drape cut. The term refers to how excess fabric drapes near the armholes.

Sometimes called the London Cut or Blade Cut.

But what is typically going on with this style under the armholes? My jacket has excess material that bunches horizontally under the arm, which can only be easily seen when the arm is lifted, but in that case looks rather strange (to me having lived in leaner cleaner cuts up to this point...). The jacket fits exceptionally well otherwise, so I'm just trying to gauge whether or not my jacket is truly finished and I simply need to embrace this phenomenon as a trait of the style, or if the jacket needs further attention (which again, I'll certainly be able to work out with the Steed gents, but in the meantime...).
