I had a nice meeting with Mina, Dino and Marco yesterday, too. They are such great people. It was fun to see some of the things other guys were ordering. Your sport coat in the large h-bone looked great, G. I was fitted for a jacket done in the same, but glen plaid version. Looking forward to that.

I think Dino's jacket is the same lambswool shepherd check cloth as the one I have. Mine is the brown, blue and tan. His is in grays with some blues. It looked really good with gray pants and a charcoal sweater. I think it can work both ways with jeans or "office pants". Definitely a sporty cloth.

When I have a bit of time, I'll have some pics of really swell collo Capri numbers that were ready on this round.

I brought a friend along to my appointment. He chose this subtle brown plaid. Mina helped him select the blue/grey flannel for pants. They bring out both the blue and the grey in the jacket rather nicely.

A picture of the sleeves. The left one (black&red) is by Volpe. The other two are by NSM.

Are there any major differences? I see more shirring in Volpe and possibly more extended shoulders.

    Those are the only differences.

That's not set in stone either - Mina has done shoulders for me from nearly flat to heavily puffed/shirred, depending on fabric weight and my taste.

It was a good joke for a few seconds. Well done.

Yes, LP. I've got a variation on order with the addition of brown, comes off as a bit warmer than what Dino had on.

I just saw them off to the airport - she's got only 4m left of this cloth.

Do you have a picture of the one you got? Is it the same cloth Parker used? I am thinking to get it next round if it is still available.

I'll have the coat by next month and can snap a pic. It's very similar to Parker's (which is no longer available), with a greyish cast to the palette. I hesitated last year but immediately snapped up this season's version.
