those are the ones i see here in london. those arent the books in question. mina and ambrosi carry some that are bright orange. they may also feature a crude depiction of mt vesuvius inside the cover

that one is caccioppoli not loro piana

thanks, eventually we'll meet up and I'll get to see your stuff. There is also an issue that needs to be discussed as to why eddie will be on the website and not ed [IMG] [IMG]

    You're doing PAs now?

[IMG] The camera adds 10 pounds plus love handles.

Old joke, but still: How many cameras did you eat? Four?

    Ed,

Was that shirt made by Mina? Love the collar

no, it was made by Carlo Goldbergi, he has a small shop in the foothills of Chelsearino, just off Via Fiftha Avenida.

    Neapolitan camera?

are you saying I look like fried pizza [IMG]

It's the puffy edges - very traditional - ma che buono!

    matt knows this one

In my native land, the Italian part of Queens, that is called Calzone, especially when stuffed with
    Ricotta and ham.

    Neapolitan camera?

Could have been a drape camera, but the sleeve pitch didn't look wrong.

Calzone is baked, this is deep fried, I think.

But this comment was particularly dumb as he's saying that the most Naples-inspired Napolitan pizza maker in NYC (Motorino, since UVPN moved to SF) is actually much better than the Napolitan pizza he is emulating. [IMG]

If anyone told Palombino his pizza was better than anything you'd find in Italy, he'd laugh at you.

By the way, that puffy pizza in the OP looks very much like the pizza you'd find at Olio in the village. Can't eat too much of that though, it's very filling.

Speaking of, I went to UPN a few weeks ago. Pretty good. Not comparable to Naples at all. Still, a nice place to have around.

Hmmm, you are correct. Perhaps the Italians of Queens opted for
    more healthy fare.

BTW, Mina and Dino are in Boston right now, at Copley House but I think today is voxsartoria day so you would have to go tomorrow.

Will be meeting with her tomorrow before she leaves Boston. I look forward to the meeting.

Will she be measuring you for trousers in the same mens' room?
Sounds like the first scene of a sartorial porn epic.
    Which side do you dress?
We do have to plan camera angles.
