Well, here's the thing: within the range of what I would consider classic proportions, I prefer that my stuff from Steed and my stuff from Napolisumisura look a bit different. For me, at least, that is the whole point of using two tailors whose outlooks have been formed by different cultures, traditions and climates.
If I wanted only one look, I would stay with one tailor.
Atlantic and Mediterranean, cool and warm.
I live in New England and we have four seasons, the range of which is more severe than what either England or Southern Italy experience. It's rather nice to have the option of choosing between one aestheric or the other depending on the time of year and where I might be traveling.
At least, that is my current thinking.
Thank you. Yes, I received the first, the second is still being made.
I will have to say that it's a pretty spectacular cord suit. Such a thing will not be everyone's bag, but I love it...and if anything, Mina and Dino love it even more.
Apparently, it was a ***** to sew.
Thanks, ET. The first batch of shirts came out great. She's working on a second batch now, half of them button-down popovers and the other half with camp collars.

Dammit, let's get this thread back to darts.
How's that?
Doubtful.
Shame.
