1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I placed an order for a "hybrid" 3 piece in a green donegal when they were here in NYC. Hybrid being a MTM jacket and vest, but bespoke pants. The MTM jacket seemed to fit quiet well, but the pants did not, so I went with bespoke. Mina and Dino were wonderfully warm and accommodating and were very honest in their assessment that the jacket fit was quite good MTM. In those circumstance you often brace to be up-sold to full bespoke. All that being said, I sympathize with the SF people. Investing in building a relationship with a traveling tailor and having that fall through b/c they aren't coming anymore would be frustrating, made more so by not getting the items you have on order.

No Styleforum Meetup planned following the Ring Trunk Show. They want to be able to focus on client appointments and any last minute walk ins. I will be there around 11AM for my appt. Even thought temps have been in triple digits in my area, the Holland & Sherry tweeds have me ready for Fall.

Well, you could have worn tweed & flannel today - mid 60s, foggy, damp and windy in the city. Near 80 yesterday. Dressing for work in the city is such a crapshoot this time of year.

60 sounds so unreal. We were wine tasting in Napa Sunday and Monday at 102+ degrees. Ice cold champagne helped.

Does anyone have a way to contact NSM that doesn't involve email, either phone number on their website or StyFo message?

Kinda out of ideas and would like to make an appointment for their London trip next week.

So have they finalized/made an announcement that aren't coming back to SF?

Don't know about an official announcement, but that's what they told me in person.

It shouldn't be this hard to give a merchant your money.

I think it's more that they don't currently have plans to come. I don't know if they've permanently crossed San Francisco off their list.

I actually have six pairs of ill-fitting trousers from them that I don't know what to do with. They were made straight to finish and don't fit well, and with no plans to come to San Francisco, I'm not sure how this can be corrected.

In my experience, email with Dino has been spotty. Sometimes he replies right away, then there will be weeks where I don't get a reply at all. Always assumed that he doesn't reply to emails when traveling.....

Second this. I usually just wait a few days and resend and get a reply.

Made contact and had a nice (albeit short since my 3-year-old daughter was very anxious to leave) visit and picked up the suit they made in @~ B ~ 's Rangoon special order.

Will have to post photos later. Perfectly subtle spalla camicia.

Quiet surprise for this price point there are no fitting ....I understand they are not the first order...but still

Really unless it is exactly the same fabric....if not I often request fitting....even the so-call "cheap" tailor in HK would do so
