I was taking inventory this Saturday afternoon and I figured I'd take a photo of the shoe collection I've built since I started reading this forum a couple of years ago... Thanks to everyone on this board in the various threads that guided me to this nice collection.

All shoes made in USA (Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota) or England

Top row; from left to right:
Alden Indy 403 with Commando Sole (Massachusetts)
Church's Sahara desert boot (England)
Crockett and Jones Coniston boot (England)
Red Wing Rugged Classic (Minnesota)
LL Bean Waxed Canvas Maine Hunting Shoe (Maine)

Middle row; from left to right
Church's Consul in Black (England)
Alden longwing in #8 cordovan (Mass)
Ralph Lauren X Crockett and Jones wingtip in dark brown cordovan (England)
Alden PTB in ravello (Mass)
Alden PTB in tan suede (Mass)

Bottom row, from left to right
Quoddy Canoe Moc in Black (Maine)
Ralph Lauren x Crockett and Jones tassel loafer in dark brown cordovan (England)
Alden ravello tassel loafer (Mass)
Quoddy Canoe Moc in mid brown suede (Maine)

Next on the agenda - maybe the Yuketen olive suede boat shoes, another black shoe (maybe a penny loafer or an Alden chukka), additional shoes in #8

How can it be styleforum approved if we haven't approved it yet?

I like a few of them (C&J Coniston, Church's DB and RL x CJ are nice).
Overall I would cut down on the slip-on shoes & trim the number of plain-toes.
Remove maine hunting boot.
Need some color! Maybe some newer designers.
Feels a bit old-mannish.

Hunting boot is for fall/winter rain/snow (seems pretty popular around here)

Yeah, some color would be additive. Some navy suede or something?

It is about "traditional," but I've always had that style, and it seems like it is becoming more "on trend" nowadays
