The first two pictures show it a bit shorter on one side, but I'm not sure if thats a pov problem...there will be no padding in the shoulders, and cotton white with orange and blue stripe shirting as a lining.

Like the lapels a lot. IMO, it should be a little longer. Isn't Frank going on vacation till the 16th?

This is the place in Brooklyn, yes? Can I ask the price on this piece?

Now what we need is a comparison of Ercole, Toyo, and Certo tailors, like against like, to understand what one gets in the "50%" segment" (1/2 of the standard price in NYC, $3500).

Looking good there, Ranger...way to represent Brooklyn.

Looks good. I'd be curious to see the finished shoulders (it's always difficult to tell what they'll look like when they're just basted). Also, FWIW, I'm not a fan of short coat skirts, especially with wider lapels. But it may well work with your physique.

Not keen on the fabric, but the fit is already a country mile ahead of some of your other jackets.

Jesus, how meager and buried does a compliment have to be before it doesn't even qualify as a backhanded one anymore?

I think I'd like it better if the buttoning point were a tad lower and the jacket were a tiny bit longer.

While I was initially inclined to say, well glad it's not your jacket, I actually agree with this.

Noticed on taking another look and also agree.

But overall, fit looks great NYR. Interesting fabric choice. Can't wait to see the finished garment in one of your lifestyle pics.
