• CALLING ON HOME SEWERS TO HELP HEALTHCARE WORKERS FIGHTING COVID-19

The lack of proper masks, gowns, and eyewear equipment is making it difficult for health workers to do their work fighting the novel coronavirus. In a recent New York Times article, medical workers said they were worried about how they can both fight the coronavirus without imperiling themselves, as well as their loved ones when they go back home.

If you are a home sewer, please consider helping my joining Hickey Freman Technical Vice President Jeffery Diduch in his effort to produce and deliver homemade gowns and masks to medical professionals in the greater Rochester, New York Area. Read about how you can help here

I recently started a project on my blog that involves me taking pictures of random people I see on the street. I then proceed to edit the photos to make their outfits fit better. I tried my best not to alter their body at all. Please take a look and I'd love to hear your opinions on how I can improve on my idea.

Good idea, but I think you shortened the jacket by too much.

I think it might be the angle. But I prefer my jackets to be 2-3 inches past my belt.

I should start with fat guys. That's a great advice.

Where can I find photos of fat guys in suits.

Well, according to the SW&D crowd, MC is full of them. So, I'd try WAYWRN.

Yeah this is a lot like the 'get foofed' thread and the upgrade they do in GQ which used to be interesting but you see the same old thing month after month now. Get frumpy schlubby guy, buy him slim cut clothes that actually fit. OK we get the message!

I like the idea of this thread though. If I could take a picture of my Economic professor

I do like the explanation on the photo though, it gives a strong visual effect on the Dos/Don't.

Not only that but the balance is wrong now. Quite long lapels and damn low button stance IMHO.

Agreed. I dont think its as simple as just hacking off a few inches. Plus I also think you made it way too short. But I guess good idea in concept.
