I just got my first pair of peccary gloves, and as I was pulling them out of their protective cellophane bag I was pleasantly surprised by how soft the leather felt. Unfortunately seconds later I was disappointed by how un-even the finish was. Im talking about the dying\color rather then surface quality. After reaching out to the seller I was told by their customer care consultant that that was normal and indicative of their stock, the explanation was that :"Depending on what part of the hide is used, the dye is taken at various degrees. Our leather is not sanded, grain corrected, or anything." I was curious to see what other peoples experience was with peccary gloves, especially in lighter colors in regards to finish, as I would really like to get a pair of yellow peccary gloves, but now hesitant to order online. BTW, anyone familiar with these "bargain" (compared to Dents)(mine are not Dents) options: http://www.paularun.com/, or http://store.peccaryleather.com/.
