I actually like the pink inside... it's kind of like choosing a brightly colored jacket lining.

i would put polish or cream all over that mustard and make it darker and more interesting. certainly the choice of a dandy and I think ordering a different color is what custom ordered goods are about.

I have a MTO pair of EGs almost exactly like those, except I had them made as golf shoes (I couldn't pull spectators off anywhere else). I ordered them in dark oak and Edwardian antique. I found the Edwardian antique too light and orange, so I took some black polish to that part of the shoe and it worked brilliantly, darkening the leather to a shade near burnt pine with nice variation in color.

I also like the pink inside the shoe, maybe I'll ask for that with my next pair.

I've had a pair of Marteganis made in essentially the same color combinations. My intention was to get some wear on the cooler days. I found that not going with the usual white on this shoe gives you some added seasonal flexibility. I dig the pink, nice touch! Enjoy

Try them with some med to dark brown pants.

Not my kind of sole for this model. The balance of the shoe is a sweet work of art. [IMG]

At first I thought the colour combo was a little out there, but looking at them again I really like them.

I like! Once the acorn ages a little bit they'll be perfect.

Great shoes. Very creative color combination. They will look great with almost any casual combination.

Congratulations on having the confidence to order something this unique.

Great colour but a little heavier on the mustard and hold the mayo!

No, I wouldn't say so. Sometimes (often, in my eyes) this just screams too loud "Look at me! I'm special and very pricey!". I think that custom ordered goods are about the perfect fit - and thus screaming in a way still louder "Look at me! I'm special and very pricey!" because the unostentatious also adds: "And I do not need to tell everyone."

Nice looking shoe, i dig the pink insert!

the colorway (to me) is a bit 'stacy-adams' but I like it, and can def see that working with a variety of cool outfits.

I don't know...Stacy Adams shoes do an awful lot of screaming without being pricey at all!
