Hello fashionistas,
I bought a pair of AE Delrays about 2 weeks ago, and over the weekend, I wore them about town. My right foot was really bothering me, and in the car, I took them off along with the sock. I was pretty surprised to see that some of my skin was sheered off. I had only expected a boil, but this was even worse. I ended up buying some flip-flops at Target for $2.50.
Yesterday, I re-wore my AE Delrays, but this time, I had a bandage on my right foot where my skinning occured. I also wore two socks: An inner black gym sock and on top of that, some nice formal socks that are also black. By having two pairs of socks, I thought that this would "dampen" the poking feeling of the leather's crease as it jabs into my feet.
Although I did very little walking, my *LEFT* foot this time was bothering me. By the end of the day of doing mostly office work, I did not have any skinning or bruising this time, but I was very uncomfortable.
Guys, this was the worst shoe experience that I've ever had as far as I can remember. This is much worse than the high-top felt/suede shoes from Aldos that I own (did I just admit to owning a pair of Aldos?), which is too narrow at the top for me.
