I'm currently making a Zine (a low-fi magazine) based on outfits and documenting the items of clothing people wore on a significant day in their life, and what it tells us about that person.
All we need you to do is remember exactly what you were wearing during a significant moment in your life. Maybe it was the day of a first date, a break up, your first gig, a relative was born, an outfit mishap, or the day you decided to become a vegetarian. ANYTHING. It could be something that has happened in the last six months, yesterday, or even years ago- it can be as happy, seriously, witty or sad as you like.
Lay what you were wearing out on the floor, as if you are dressing an invisible flat person. Stand on a chair etc above, and take a picture of it from a straight angle. Then email any photos to... [email protected] along with a sentence describing the importance of the day for example "what I wore the day the day I kissed my best friend of 15 years and risked everything. Turns out risks are worth it." The outfit itself does not need to be significant, it is just what you happened to be wearing when something of emotional significance happened. Try to remember as much as possible, if you don't have the exact clothes then just improvise.
