The explanation is not in line with this thread, so I'm not going to discuss it here.

I think it was in poor taste for you to bring it up in this thread at all. It didn't add anything to the conversation. Just sayin.'

To the OP: I didn't read your entire first post (and I thought it would be a little out of line to post the Colin Powell pic), but, I wish you well.

It's more along the lines of sociology and it's not really that hard to understand. If you disagree with my statements you'd best be served by making an actual point yourself instead of expressing your disagreement with my own via hyperbolic insults.

Reading that brought a tear to my eye. I have lost people very close to me recently and I definately understand what your going through. One of my best friends was killed in an auto accident and even a couple of years later its still hard. Dont let anyone tell you things are going to be ok, because they are not. Things will never go back to normal, because someone who was such an influence in your life is gone. Things will however, move on. And so will you. In time you will in your own way come to terms with what happened and you will keep your head up high and get on with your life. You have a new child who will never get to know her grandma, so honor her memory by sharing with her when the time is right what a wonderful person she was.

It took huge balls to post this on a forum as inpersonal as this one is, and you get huge respect for that.

Keep your head up and just know that everyday is different, but hopefully everyday is better.

Dude hate to break it to you but you are an asshole. Whether or not you are right or wrong is beside the point, but hijacking this guys thread to be a dick is pretty low class. Continually trying to validate what you said is an even bigger jackass thing to do.

Speaking of what you are supposed to say to someone when a loved one dies, in my culture, the thing you say to someone when a family member dies is "May God forgive him/her." Always thought that was interesting.

I'm not going to dignify this with a response. This is ridiculous.

I apologize to the OP for having to put up with this in his thread.

    You just responded

    Wouldn't you think?!

I could argue aimlessly with the poster, but I'm not going to, because it has no purpose.
