I'm waiting for my bonus to roll around here and have sworn not to make any more major clothing purchases until then. But I've been obsessing about my next few acquisitions, and I'm hoping that announcing them publicly will allow me to stop drooling over photos on the web. Here are the major items I'd like to pick up in the coming year:

1 - Rider Boot Company RBCB1 in Mahogany Shell Cordovan.

2 - Crockett and Jones Tetbury in dark brown suede.

3 - A nice black chelsea boot, probably C&J or RLPL if any come up in the next GVH frenzy. (Are the C&Js and RLPLs the exact same thing?)

4 - My first bespoke suit, probably an SB 2-button peak lapel number in charcoal or navy from WW Chan.

Glad I got all that off my chest for now. I feel better already.

Anything you guys are after?

I think I'm done with big clothing purchases for this year*. I'll probably hold off until my company does bonuses around March. If I get a good bonus, I'm thinking about purchasing a tuxedo from Chris Despos and/or brown suede shoes from Cleverley (I'm assuming that I'll be happy with my first pair that they're currently making for me).

* This assumes that the cashmere sportscoat I've been lusting after at Saks doesn't go on sale.

IMHO Brazil has more than their fair share of stunning models. And as such great lust "objects". Although Im more of a simpleton, and tend to be content with the european variety

Not Marc Lauwers? I had yet another dream that I went back to Lanvin, but in this dream they had moved all the bespoke out of the store and I was too late.

I'm guessing he's not as hot in a bikini.

And as you recall, investigating his services shriveled my nads.

Didn't fit? How do you mean? Please explain, as I will not have the opportunity to try these one before purchasing. Hopefully in just a few weeks...

Instep wasn't high enough and the last was too narrow.

For me, though. I want to stress, as I normally do, that no one should draw any conclusions based on how a particular pair of shoes or boots fits me. YMMV.

Of course. However, I do have a slightly wide and flat foot, and I hope these puppies will fit me nicely. I am, however, used to shoes being a bit uncomfortable. I am truly afraid that the Tetburys will squeeze my poor little doggies, but such is the price of a sleek and beautiful boot.

My list:

6x4 DBs cut from a bunch of LL cloths that have been piling up: grey Brisa, light grey Brisa, brown PoW, B&W PoW. It would be financially irresponsible to get them all done at once, so it will probably be 1 every 6 months or so.

A blazer (with shiny brass buttons), DB or SB, really nice cashmere or a tough fresco, basically undecided for the moment.

More white shirts.

A nice pair of black shoes.

A nice pair of brown suede shoes.
