Not related to this inane question, but Sebago will be coming out with it's own deck boot this spring. They'll be priced at $140.

I like them, but could do without the distressing. I would also prefer hooks instead of holes for the top. With boots, I always end up unlacing the top hole or two to take them off and on. It's somewhat annoying.

We should make this thread about Sebago deck boots.

Hooks would be bad if you were actually on a boat.

I am on boats/docks often and can see no reason why speed-lacers would be inappropriate, I get away with it quite frequently myself.

Maybe it's just me then. My boots with lace hooks get snagged on things frequently.

^^ how about the 15yo SF member?? if you have a budget get Sperry's if you don't... read the other 400 threads about boat shoes, stop asking, and look for ideas

^Argh, just because I posted two fits with BoO x Sperrys, I'm "that kid who likes boat shoes too much." At least I'm not wearing New Balance anymore?
