My Interview With George Hamilton

And I've always been curious if the whole restaurant-payment-in-advance-thing is true.
You know you are a baller when you can call a fine dining establishment, say, "Here's my CC number. I'll be in sometime within the next week. I will sit down, order, eat, and leave. Just charge my card. I don't want to have to deal with it."

According to Hamilton he used to bang his stepmom (reportedly a major PoA) which falied to cause any lifelong psychological scars

i can say i know george a little bit, he doesn't appear that tanned in person (at least the times i saw him), but my wife describes him as very handsome. she says that i am just "eh all right"

I wonder what would happen if you said the same about your avatars, and then called her 'eh all right'.

It's easy enough to do, and a 100% hit with a date. You should try it, carpe diem and all that!

I did it for my then-girlfriend-now-wife's birthday one year. I ordered in advance as well, so the moment we sat down they began serving us our food and wine. At the end of the night I smiled, thanked the proprietor, and escorted my girlfriend from the restaurant. No check, no payment. She was so baffled she started to get angry at me, until I explained how I'd arranged it.

I found the things he told me were more interesting (to my tastes) than what he wrote in his new book.

In a sidebar article I wrote (which is not online), he told me a story about trying to buy Cary Grant's last pair of shoes from Maxwells in London.

If you could track down ex SF mayor Willy Brown I think it would make an interesting interview. He has a fantastic outlook on dressing and communicates it very well.
