Had that in my previous apartment, only not facing the bed but above the headboard and tilted 5degrees downward. :slayer:
Another 'strategic' mirror place was at one side of the dinner table (which stood against the wall) :)

Naturally, this was during my bachelor days, and my current gf is happy that the walls here can not support that mirror above the bed.

So its on the opposite now, perched on top of some drawers :)

Now that I think of it, I have way to many mirrors in the house :foo:

I think the bathroom is an odd place for a full length mirror.

i think the best place for non sexual needs, is on the front of a closet door in the bedroom. useful for dressing and hair combing and what not.

You need to be a good distance away from a mirror to get an accurate sense of proportion; ideally you should be able to take a few steps as well with direct reflection of your feet so you can further sense if things look right in motion. Often times I've glanced at myself in a knee-to-head mirror in a small bathroom, only to find the whole getup was off as I walked next to a window on the street.

I was going to say put it on the ceiling over the bed - every morning when you open your eyes - for a split second you'll think a naked skydiver is coming at you.

OK, the bathroom door is out. I'll survey the room and see what gives her the appropriate space and lighting.

I picked up a 16" X 60" mirror at HD for $25. Now, how low should I mount it?

    Grazie to all,

    Larry

Probably best to mount it on all fours. You don't want to startle it, after all, you just met.
