Did you buy these because of the brand name?

I hope not.....

Anyway, the shoes looks fine to me. Nothing stand out about them.

Hello Kiwi Man,
I like shoes with metal designs on their uppers and Gucci was the first who introduced them (I think or at least they are known for it) so I said to myself why not get them and also Gucci shoes are of decent construction.
My next purchases will most probably be Mantellasi, Santoni and Gravati but without the metal bar on top :)
I might also buy another light brown Gucci metal horse bit as I really like these shoe styles.
After all Gucci shoes are not that bad but are definitely not comparable to the Mantellasi's and Gravati's.

Regards.

Can get those and a bunch of other Gucci loafers for 250 from a major shoe store. You got taken.

Well, $50 difference is not that big of a deal plus where I'm from (Bahrain) our prices tend to be on the high side with a small selection to choose from.

Thanks for your input.

Thank you for your remark Christian.
I have seen your taste in shoes in previous threads, definitely not my style plus at least I buy new shoes and never buy used shoes unlike yourself.

Good Day.

The shoes are not what I would prefer for myself if I could wear loafers but there is no reason to be rude to Zilfi. Zilfi you should check out Herring shoes, they have a great selection of many types of loafers and dress shoes at various price points and quality levels. I just bought some monkstraps from there myself.
