My first crockett&Jones is it a flaw?

I just received my first C&J Connaught from spanish retailer Santa Eulalia, there is an upheave in cap area of the shoe(As you can see in pictures). is this sth normal you experience or it is a flaw? thanks

It’s not necessarily a flaw in the sense that it’s structural and will effect overall wear, but it’s an aesthetic issue.

It looks like you have yet to wear them. Return them for another pair.

It's not as though C&J are hard to find. Had you kept them, the issue would have gnawed at you with every wear.
