Ashdown seems to have it. Does anyone have this shoe?

I also have the RL version in brown cordovan. Great looking and very versatile shoe. I have to admit, I never understood the fuss over cordovan, but I'm really starting to dig the creases.

I have the RL version, too. It's a great shoe that has aged and rippled well in the 3 or 4 years that I've had it.

Where can you find the RL version? I didn't see it on their site.

Coming from someone with big feet, I would stay away from the plain round toe derby.

Unfortunately, I don't believe they have carried it for about a year or so.

Suede is not an option?

I like choice #1 (C&J) the best, I would also consider something like this:

You can get it through their stores. Even if they don't carry it in inventory, they can order it. The Detroit RL store does not carry the best inventory of shoes, but they have a catalog that has all of the RL shoe offerings. I'd assume all of the RL stores have the same catalog.

Looking at P. Lal it looks like, at current exchange rates, the Ashdown (which is burgandy) is about $560. The RL Marlow (brown) is $700. If you can catch a 20% off sale at RL, they'd be the same price. Just a thought, and I have no idea when the next RL sale is, but that would make both color options available at the same price.
