Oh c'mon, they are much smarter than that. You think they wouldn't know a brand new pair from a resoled one?

The best solution is to have them shipped to your office and smuggle them into your house one pair at a time in a Duane Reade shopping bag.

this is a very very funny thread.

because i can totally relate with the spouse/gf thing.

my wife literally had choke my neck with her two hands and brought me down because of a couple of pairs of shoes she discovered.
they will find out in the end. eventually. you cant hide forever.
i had slight spousal abuse marks on my neck for the next few days. but who would believe a wife would abuse the poor husband?

she has a way to blackmail me now to get me to do things for her.

if she wants me to do something, or come back home right away, etc. she just says on the phone," i will take out your shoes" ..and bam, i do whatever heck she says.

Expandable nylon-sided breifcase. Mine comfortably holds four pairs with shoetrees.

For certain VR. I'm just waiting for final pair to arrive from Paris before I post the group of new JLs.

Southwold, dark oak, 888 last. There is much to love about that shoe!

There is some sanity in buying a pair of JLs over 3 EGs on sale (assuming you already have 3 great shoes in the rotation in every color imaginable) and that is no wife on earth would ever believe that one pair of shoes could cost $1400 incl tax.
