Nice work, Rabbit. I've heard Dick Prall's stuff before. It's good stuff. Didn't know you were a musician in Chicago. I am too. You playing with anybody else right now?

I am bandless. I played with Dick for the past 5 or so years. We hit the rocks a few months ago. So, currently, Ive got no one to play with.

What band are you in?

Playing music is a rocky business, all right.

I play drums with and book a handful of singer-songwriters and sub on percussion with Mucca Pazza. I came up in the free jazz/improv scene and still do that from time to time.

Dependable violinists are in short supply. You looking to play?

Always looking to play. I also played with Cameron McGill for 4 years before Dick Prall (not sure if you know him). The singer song writer thing is an easy fit for violin.
I can also do jazz/improv....

Fortunately, I m in medical robotics for a day job so I do not need to rely on playing for a living, but damn I miss playing.
Hit me up if you need any strings . I also play viola and can get cellists anytime.

Thanks! Its funny that you pick up on the fact that I am indeed a classical violinist by training!
Love the comparison, I am flattered.

The cool thing about these sessions is they are one off, so there is no going back to fix anything, and you can not do more than one take, so its as it happened.
