I think it must have been delivered by the Mary Celeste or something. So there's hope for my Henry Maxwell shoe bags yet -- they were only shipped three months ago. (If anyone wants to give me some, feel free.)

Just have to say, OMG THIS is shoe Appreciation... It's got an 80 page guide to the 2005 quality shoe makers (that can be found in France -- no Trickers or Vass), gorgeous descriptions, pictures, analyses. It does slag off Green for lack of innovation, but perhaps they wanted it to go all Berluti and sell Dovers with some crabby handwriting on them.

On www.souliers.net several people complained that they got their magazine late (even in France) and that the quality was down.

It is the NOV/DEC edition i guess?

I bought this one for Mr Pollock when he was in Paris. He enjoyed it as it was full of pictures.
