I got my first pair of clarks desert boots the other day and I did some walking today. And after a couple of hours I developed some very painful blisters on both feet slightly under my ankle. It hurt so much walking in them. Is this normal or is it because I got a size that's too small ?

I had to get gel inserts for mine. The soles offer very little cusion or support.

I wanted to get a desert boot style shoe for some time, and when I tried the Clarks desert boots, they just didn't feel comfortable at all. Had high expectations, but was disappointed.

If it is possible to return them, you might want to look into other brands.
