1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I just got my first real camera, a Nikon D40x for my trip to Europe. Im still learning about using it, these are just a couple shots, nothing special. One is just to show off my buddy, A GSD, and the other is just a lamp outside of my house that I just thought looked cool.

Is that church near St. Catherines street? I think I've been there...

Yah it is the most pristine water I've ever seen. Picture was taken in Canmore, Alberta (Rocky Mountains).

Is this a high elevation glacial lake? I have been hiking in the Cascade Range and there were a few lakes like this I saw. It was so clear that when I went fishing, we could see every fish in the lake. Truly amazing. It was like you were at an aquarium.

Maybe not such a great picture in terms of photgraphy, but the subject matter is perfect... The perfect portrayal of the reason they are called the Smokies

it's processed using high dynamic range.

It's a bit over saturated but oh well.

A couple from my recent trip to Hawaii.. Mixed reviews on the Jeep one, some people feel it was too much, I personally like it.
