I know there are a lot of photographers of varying skill levels here, and the picture threads we've had so far have basically all been themed. "Pictures of cool cities", "Pictures of your house", "Pictures of what you are wearing now", etc.

This is the place for your best pictures. Unthemed. New, Old, whatever.

There are three (and a half) rules.

1: You must have taken the picture yourself

2: No human nudes or semi-nudes. (especially of dudes, sorry Jovan and Connemara!)

3: Do not talk about Fight Club.

3.5: Please link or thumbnail images larger than 1280x768 so people with tiny screens can enjoy this thread too!

...oh and remember that members overseas often cannot see imageshack.us hosted images, so keep that in mind. If you don't mind that Alter or Nantucket Red are going to live the rest of their lives without seeing your images, go right ahead, but don't say I didn't warn you of their wrath.

Check out http://www.flickr.com if you need a place to upload photos.

I'll keep it down to 6, it's way too hard to choose one. I judge the best in terms of the best airplane shot, best night shot, etc.

#2 is awesome JB. What's the story behind that?

And what's the story with the "i heart boobs" tag?

That was fire department training. We blew up a fuel truck, along with the Baltimore City Fire Department.

The "I heart boobs" was not put there by me, but I most certainly do not disagree with it.

I have to add these few I just dug out and I am done; I promise.

Last one was from an anti-terrorism drill.

I am done. Seriously. That's it. I promise. Sorry Slim [IMG]

Oh I see. It would have been much cooler if you were a bystander in a real accident/fire. But still, good photo nonetheless.

Yea; I don't think we let people get that close during real fires. Someone would sue us for something [IMG]

I started the thread, I made the tags, and I heart boobs.

These are the only two I could find:

I don't have a very good scanner so there's not much detail. Both were taken by a Rolleiflex--the top with a 35mm adapter and the bottom, 120 film.

I am no where in the league of you guys, not even close. I do not consider myself to be a good photographer at all, but I will share my best pic I have taken.

I like this as it captures my pups personality. I got lucky with the angle and of his expression.
