Just got my Benjamin suit back from the tailors.
So should have taken pic before alterations but oh well. That and I need a better camera than my iphone.
The tie's a plum Benjamin too.

Its a 36R with the R part probably largely irrelevant since its been shortened by an inch making it shorter than the 36S now pants are slightly tapered in, and a number of jacket seams also taken to remove excess fabric.

Looks a bit too short now, ironically enough. Looks a little tight but not overly so.

The fit of the jacket looks great to me, but in the second image there seems to be some odd billowing in the slacks around your thighs.

Better pics are called for.

Looks good to me. It is on the shorter side, but I think it's perfectly acceptable.

Agreed that the slacks have a bit of bunching - might just want to make sure they are sitting properly on your shoes.

Nice fit, but your subject line's joke about pedophilia tells me that you're a dumb ****.

Crossed the line have I? Apologies, gentlemen - thought it was funny at the time. Thanks for the input. The tie knot might have just been a bit loose. The pants are still a little too long I think leading to the funny bits as it is definitely not too loose.

Apologies once again.

OP, suit looks pretty good. You don't have anything to apologize for. The posters who feign righteous indignation at your comments should not be allowed on the internet if they are so easily offended. Referring to someone as a "dumb ****" is more crude and offensive than your joke.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
