My AE Park Ave's have no internal writing... are they seconds?

So I ordered a pair of AE Park Avenues from work and when they arrived, the shoes had no internal writing, which typically states the last, model version, size, etc... As well, the left shoe's lace area is a bit cocked to the left. Did I receive a second by mistake?

If you told them your username when you ordered, then you probably got thirds.

You may have received a sample of the elusive Libourel model. If this is the case, I suggest you not wear them.

It doesn't sound like first quality AE. Did you get it from an authorized retailer? If so, your remedy is obvious.

Why don't you contact them? Maybe with special orders they don't do as much labelling. I think that there is ample evidence that they are very receptive to correcting customer concerns.
