I've been planning this for a while and I finally did it this past weekend. I knew the risk of a catastrophe a la josepidal and did a 3 hours on one day, and a 2 hour touch up the next day.
I used burgundy Kiwi wax polish on the captoe and the heel mirror polished, and used navy shoe cream to create a green hue on the quarters leather piece. Tan polish to even out the original chestnut color for the vamp.
The photos are as close as it is in person. The colors are contrasting enough to maybe qualify as a spectator. When worn outside in the sunlight, the contrast really is differentiable, it really looks reddish, greenish, and chestnut.
Any opinions?
