Some of you may recall my previous efforts to learn bespoke shoemaking. My latest effort is shown below -- an austerity brogue in black calfskin with beveled waist and fiddleback sole. Lots of things that can be improved upon, but every new pair I make seems to show improvement.

Could I ask where you bought the tools and where you learn the craft?
I am taking a shoemaking course, I want to know where I can buy the tools, thanks.
I like the second black shoes most.

    That's some amazing efforts!

Just a quick question though, how does the shoe wear in terms of balance? In particular, high heels and smaller heel area vs. the RTW offerings on markets. And did you make the last too?

I heard Daniel Day Lewis makes shoes in his spare time. Sounds like a fun hobby.

Very good effort! I would lov eto do a course like that. I also think the second black pair is the best balanced. Do you make the last as well?

That is amazingly impressive. Where do they offer courses like this? I have a sense this isn't something at the local community college.

Now that's a cool hobby. I'm kinda jealous.

Great last on the black plain toe - did you make your own lasts?

What hides did you use on the black plain toe and the tan cap toe? Both are unusual.

Yes, the black one looks quite nice.

    Imagine the money you'll save.
