Here is my latest effort in cordwaining (for my previous pair, see here: http://www.styleforum.net/t/287851/my-adventures-in-diy-shoemaking-part-19 ).
This pair of chukka boots was inspired in part by the Youtube videos of Anthony Delos, who makes a Norwegian welted boot. I decided to try to make Norwegian welt, which features visible stitching of the insole to the upper. My stitching on this pair was a bit uneven, not surprising since it was my first attempt at doing this.
The boots were made on a narrow, round toe last. The uppers are a Scotch grain leather.
