To continue my threadjack (I swear I'll stop after this), a close friend of mine played against Giggs as 15 year olds. Considering Giggs was in the United first team at 17, he was already an accomplished player. My friend, who was one of the quickest players I have ever seen was a right back at the time and dreaded playing against the then, Ryan Wilson. He told the story of a game where Giggs beat him for pace while dribbling the ball early on and how he was momentarily encouraged that he had almost kept up with him. He thought, with a bit of anticipation and positioning, he could contain Giggs. Then a ball got played over the top and in a distance of 30 yards, Giggs had a 10 yard gap on him. Needless to say, that was a difficult day.

I have a few other sotries and memories, but I'll save them for the football thread

Thought I would update this thread with the Steed jacket progress. First fitting is still a bit more than a month out, but I have to say that so far, Matthew and Edwin have been great. Matthew took the time to take some pictures of the pattern marking and messaged them to me yesterday. So here they are...

No, they come to San Francisco every 4 months. First fitting in June, second in October, and then the finished product shortly after.
