There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Murl - looks great so far! I am very glad that you ended up ordering a bespoke jacket, I think that it will not disappoint. Very interested to see what Steed makes for you. You fit extremely well into a whole lot of RTW, so I am very curious to see just how much better bespoke turns out.

I pulled that exact same fabric a little while ago when I visited Chris. I think I have a picture of it in my phone somewhere. The phoenix book is very cozy feeling, while still being rather light, I am curious to see how the fabric makes up / drapes.

Off topic a bit, but since it's his thread: @Murlsquirl if you're looking to replace your A&S oxbloods, did you see the hatch grain Budays Ed is selling? Too big for me, but I think he has them in UK10.

It's going to be a long, long wait to see how this thing finally turns out...which is fine because I have to pay the other half!

W Bill chimed in on IG and said how great they think the cloth is and that it's going to be awesome when finished. I also talked to Matthew yesterday and he said he thinks he's going to have a MTM jacket made up. That would be nice because I can see what it looks like before mine is done.

    Disgusting.

I saw those...very nice. I don't really need to replace them and I'm at my self imposed shoe limit so I don't think I'll grab them...someone should quick though!

It's only February, bud. LvG will go soon, Giggsy will temporarily take the reins and get those overpaid boys going.

bdavro, we have a football(soccer) thread that would enjoy your presence - people dont post in there as much as they should

To continue my threadjack (I swear I'll stop after this), a close friend of mine played against Giggs as 15 year olds. Considering Giggs was in the United first team at 17, he was already an accomplished player. My friend, who was one of the quickest players I have ever seen was a right back at the time and dreaded playing against the then, Ryan Wilson. He told the story of a game where Giggs beat him for pace while dribbling the ball early on and how he was momentarily encouraged that he had almost kept up with him. He thought, with a bit of anticipation and positioning, he could contain Giggs. Then a ball got played over the top and in a distance of 30 yards, Giggs had a 10 yard gap on him. Needless to say, that was a difficult day.

I have a few other sotries and memories, but I'll save them for the football thread :)

    Up the Arsenal!

You need Nicky Butt in that team more than Giggs.

Nice to hear another opinion on Tailor's Keep. Given @UrbanComposition 's experience, I hope to give them a shot for trousers.

Thought I would update this thread with the Steed jacket progress. First fitting is still a bit more than a month out, but I have to say that so far, Matthew and Edwin have been great. Matthew took the time to take some pictures of the pattern marking and messaged them to me yesterday. So here they are...

Do you have to come back to the UK for the fittings?

No, they come to San Francisco every 4 months. First fitting in June, second in October, and then the finished product shortly after.
