Multiple Garment Hangers

All right, my closet's getting really full. And I have stuff piled up which really should be on hangers instead.

I've seen those late night tv ads for hangers which drop down vertically to conserve space. But, I can't remember offhand what the names of those hangers are. Help me out with some websites and names so I can get my closet organized.

Bed/Bath/Beyond has tons of those things, plus they're always dispensing 20% off coupons.

Have you considered using shelves/drawers as well?

space saver hangers... most retailers (walgreens,wal-mart,target,...) have an 'as seen on TV' section. I think most department stores have a large selection of hangers as well.

I got the majority of my wooden/ pants hangers from TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and the like. They are usually 40-60% off of retail, and worth it in terms of having presentable looking clothes.

I don't know how old you are but at some point in your life it really is proper to only have wooden hangers in your closet. Why not move toward that now? My favorite are the ones from Ikea, really cheap. I only hang dress shirts, coats and suit jackets/suits. Everything else is folded. i have a few hooks for jeans and pants I wear everyday.

Now if stuff is spilling out of your closet. I would try hard to organize the stuff and downsize your wardrobe. Personally I would stay away from anything plastic in my closet if I could.
