MTM three piece suit in Chicago? For less than $1000?

I am getting married this summer and need a new suit for the occasion. I have mostly decided on a light grey three piece with a double breasted vest (shirt and tie TBD, shoes will probably be black balmorals). The problem is...I am a 38L. I figure MTM is my only solution.

Does anyone suggestions for good MTM in Chicago? I have seen suggestions for a few tailors (Chang, Despos, etc.), but those would be out of my price range.

Many thanks!

You might try looking for a place that does H. Freeman MTM, or go through www.bestmastertailor.com. Brooks Brothers would probably be the next cheapest option, at about $1600.

Got photos? I'm having a hard time finding much info on his work...seeing some pretty negative stuff on Yelp.

Quite frankly the guy's a dick, but for ~$600 you get Korean MTM.

If you are willing to go to $1000, there should be plenty of options. Try Balani, I think they start at $800. Also, look into a MTM Andrea Vangna and let me know what you think.

You might wanna check out Syd Jerome. They have different MTM programs.
