MTM suit jacket: bunching near seam at lower back

I would appreciate your thoughts on the back of this suit jacket that is being made for me at Tai Pan Tailor in Hong Kong. As the image shows, the fabric appears to be bunching near the seam in the lower back section. The tailor says this is due to my slender waist (relative to my broader shoulders). Taking in the material to make the jacket fit the waist inevitably causes some bunching near the seam. He also says a professional pressing will resolve the issue. (Apparently they do not have a dry cleaner style press in the shop.) What do you think? Should I accept this explanation? For what it's worth, the suit fits well otherwise.

It probably wasn't "inevitable," but it was likely. His suggested fix sounds more like a guess from someone who has never pressed a suit. An alternative is to have the waist let out slightly.
